The Art of Defending

WCWAA is excited to announce the return of The Art of Attacking and The Art of Defending for summer 2010. These clinics will take place during the week of the 19th in July .

Both clinics will run 8:30am to 11:00am and will be located at Weddington Optimist Park. Clinics are $50 each or BOTH for $80.

Clinics are OPEN to all U11 – U14 challenge and classic players only. Clinics are limited to 48 participants. With questions, concerns or for more information please contact .

The Art of Defending – A two day look at the intricacies of defending. Topics discussed include Principles of Defense, Defending Opponents Individually and Defending in Numbers. Methods used for teaching include 1 v 1, 2 v 2, 3 v 3, and 6 v 6.

Dates: Wednesday July 21st and Thursday July 22nd

Times: 8:30am – 11:00am

Age: U11 – U14 Boys and Girls

Level: Challenge and Classic players only.

What to Bring: Cleats, Shinguards, Soccer ball and WATER!

Cost: $50. Or $80 for both when paired with The Art of Attacking
