Welcome Parents, Coaches and Kids to another season of WCWAA micro soccer! If you haven't been involved in micro soccer before, it truly is a great experience.
This is a terrific program that has grown from 120 kids 4 years ago to over 330 this past Spring season! The main ingredient in that success is you and your kids. This organization (from coaches to commissioners ) is completely run by volunteers - including me. So I truly appreciate the help I receive from parents who are willing to coach and from all of you who may not feel ready to coach but are willing to help in so many other ways. Thank You!
It's a non-competitive program that focuses on Fun. Kids have a great time as they learn some of the basics of soccer.
Micro Soccer is divided into 3 age divisions ranging from 3.5 years old to 5 year olds. There will be 2 games each weekend, with one game on either Friday or Saturday and a game played on Sunday afternoon. There are no practices during the week.
**** Parents may request for their children to be placed on teams with friends and siblings but there is NO guarantee that we will fulfill that request. If your request involves children that fall into the correct age divisions i will do my best to make that work.
If the children fall into different age divisions - those requests will be denied.
I know it may not always be convenient to have siblings on 2 separate teams - But, my goal is to place children where they will be most successful - and that is with kids their own age.
I do my best to accomodate your requests on signups but if you didn't get exactly what you requested - I apologize. The ultimate goal is that all children have fun out there, and a big part of that is how often they get to touch the ball, thats why playing with kids in their own age group is so important. And touches on the ball is what gives the children the experience they need to excel as they enter the competitive leagues in seasons to come. In years past, we used to mix the age groups up but the younger kids got shoved around and shut out of the games by the older players. Plus, the older kids need to play with just the kids their own age as they prepare to move up to competitive play in the under 7 (U-7) age group.
Thanks and I look forward to your involvement and participation in our program!
There are NO REFUNDS
